Are these file available on all *nix platforms or do I need to write
something for some and if so which ones?
It's safe to say that *all* header files may not be expected to be on
any unix system. They are, after all, merely header files, and aren't
required for anything except sw that build against them. If you don't
need to build sw on a system, you're not likely to find (m)any .h
files.
