Re: Looking for a strategy for links vs. sub domains

Quoting Jason Pruim <email@hidden>:

Hi all...

Using 10.4.7 server and I'm wondering what the current thoughts are
for using links in a website (www.raoset.com/hosting) vs. subdomains
(hosting.raoset.com) Is there any speed benefit to either one?
scalability issues? Just plan dumb choices?

Right now all of the sites are going to be hosted on the same computer
as it's a very low traffic website but I'm trying to plan out for the
future, and since I'm just getting the site up and running and adding
info, I was wondering what the best thing to do for (hopefully) future
explosion of my website! :)

Can't see what the difference would be, unless you're talking about putting different sites/domains on different servers with different network hardware. Finding different addresses on the same server should be all the same.
