Re: Problems 'su'ing into the root user



My two previous messages in this thread appear to have crossed the list multiple times. This appears due to the fact that Mail.app when used with an IMAP account with over 2GB of mail over a 28.8 kbps modem connection (I'm on vacation in the boondocks!) doesn't cooperate too well. ;-) So, apologies for the duplicates.

(For anyone interested, apparently, Mail doesn't see messages as completely sent until it's moved them to the mailbox specificed for sent mail itself - and on a slower connection, this might not occur before, say, the user has already quit Mail. And next time mail is relaunched, it seems to send them again.)
