my server is also a testing and learning server, are there some
hacker trying to get on it?
smtp logs indicate that there some people trying to connect.
what are these? can someone xplain to me.

Probably junkmail bots that are malfunctioning. I get those all the
time as well. It's nothing to worry about.
As long as your not an open relay you have nothing to worry about.
