I just finished configuring my computer profiles and verified
everthing works when connecting xp to samba on 10.4.7 server. Out
of nowhere now none of my windows PCs can see my samba domain. I
get an error when I try to log in that states " Windows cannot
connect to the domain, either because the domain controller is down
or otherwise unavailable, or because your computer account was not
found....." Has anyone ever seen this before and resolved it? I
have tried just about everything I could including resetting up
windows services on my x-serve.

I've gone through some similar battles with OS X Server/Samba and
Windows boxes joined to the supplied domain. You really have to dig
into your logs to begin to understand what's going on. Before
getting too deep into this, have you simply tried stopping and
starting smb? If that doesn't do it, I documented one case that may
