Re: Adobe CS2

Not sure if anyone else is having this issue or not........a workaround could be to setup a local storage folder or partition........I don't use network homes because of issues like this.....and partitioned the hard drive and use the 2nd partition as temporary scratch disk storage for users. Its up to the users to move any work to there network drive then......the Temporary gets automatically cleaned every month on the 1st day of the month.

Just an idea if you get sick of having the issue.....shouldn't have to do this though! The network homes should work and all software should work in this type of environment! I don't believe Adobe supports network homes.

We just moved to CS2 here in July and I believe things are fine with our setup I haven't heard any complaints. Users mount there network share and we store everything on a Windows 2003 server using SMB.

Thanks,

All CS2 apps are up to date.

Server is running 10.4.7.

I had problems last year when running 10.4.3 and 10.4.4, I sure was
hoping somewhere along the line it was fixed, but I am still having
quite a few problems.
