There are logs in /Library/Logs/AppleFileService, and I'm primarily
concerned with entries in /L/Logs/AppleFileService/
AppleFileServiceAccess.log. Here's an example entry:
(I changed the IP address to 000.000.000.000 in this email). The
numeric codes at the end of the entry seem to mean something,
especially the -5006. I was hoping to find out what they mean.

I've googled for it and have come up empty. The File Service and
Command Line docs don't have this information either. Would
anyone happen to know where I can find the meanings of the error
codes that appear in the AppleFileService logs?
I'm trying to troubleshoot a problem with a network home
directory user and their keychain files. They also use .Mac
syncing, so I'm wondering if that's a culprit.
Anyway there are what appear to be error codes in the AFS logs,
but I don't know what they mean. Thanks in advance!
Could you be somewhat more specific?
I mean, those logs may contain errors related to AFP as well as to
other layers; sometimes publicly documented (ie open source),
sometimes more or less confidential.
Do you have a sample log output, related to the encountered problems?
In the hope someone will have the opportunity to find something ;-)
