I also forgot to mention some of the greatest things about masstransit
-hot folders that auto connect to desired site for file transfer
-compression on the fly
-fully automated
-email notifications for whatever you can dream up
-send postscript file for proof
I like to call this high res color faxing. You output a postscript file
and place it on a preconfigured hot folder on your server....it compresses
the file during transfer (eliminates a step for our customer service dept
and takes that process off of their local mac) ends up in a hot folder on
the client side that is configured to output to a color plotter, printer or
rip to proof the job. Cuts time to market considerably
