smb printing queue does not work after update to 10.3.9

Hello!

I think there was a hint to solve this problem, but I can not remember where I read it and I can not find it. I just updated a server from 10.3.? to 10.3.9 with all security updates and java updates. Now the print queue for the windows clients does not work any more. I removed the printer and the print queue and set it up again, but no success. I repaired permissions, tried to print from the server - all okay, but I can not print from a windows client. I even setup a new printer at the windows client but still no go. AFAIK no print job reaches the print queue.

Every hint is welcome,
