suggestion. since the card and RAM appear fine. Consider power to the raid and xserve.
Could they be self rebooting?
Are you on a UPS?
Is your power clean?
Is either unit over heating?

It is not a power problem. Over night the server crashed again but now I have a panic.log that tells me that it has trouble with one memory module. This modules where tested by xrdiag as okay. :-( I am going to replace the mainboard and run xrdiags again. At the moment the Xserve runs in diag mode for the next 14 hours. Hope i will find some errors tomorrow ohterwise I do not know if its the mainboard, ram or cpu. Mainboard is just a guess.

Bye,
Christoph
