ACL/Permissions not propagating on 10.4.3 server.

Hello everyone,

I am setting up a share and I enabled ACL's on the volume the share will be located on. I copied the files I wanted on the share onto the volume, and then proceeded to create the share. While checking the configuration, the top level directory has the correct permissions and ACL's according to the Access screen in WGM, however, none of the child directories have the ACL's I enabled. The "propagate permissions" pop-up in WGM is grayed out when you try and access it. I have tried resetting these permissions and ACL's multiple times without success. I also attempted to disable/enable allowing ACL lists on the volume, also to no avail.

The server is running 10.4.3 + security updates. Any insight would be appreciated.

Thanks,
