But isn't that what controls the functionality of "Start up at x" in the Schedule tab of Energy Saver?


The only problem with that function is that it can't repeat more than once a day. If it could repeat every 5 minutes, we'd effectively have a boot-after-polite-shutdown (within 5 minutes of power availability) function.
