Are your clients and servers on a different subnet? I'm not
positive, but it
seems like (in our case) the default apple setup only allows cups
from the
local subnet, and you'll have to specifically permit it in the
cupsd.conf
file. Additionally, ServerAdmin tends to overwrite this file
whenever you
modify print services through it, resulting in an inability to
print, so
make sure you keep a backup handy to copy back over and restart
cupsd when
necessary. We've also run into problems on a fresh boot, where
cupsd needs
to be restarted to pick up the actual cupsd.conf file that's been
sitting
there all along.
