Re: Adding LDAP admin to local admins

Perhaps this is slightly offtopic, as it concerns client machines more than the server machine, but anyway -
anyone remembers the way (command?) to add a LDAP directory admin to a local machine's admin group, so that one could administer a client using a LDAP account stored in the directory? I remember when you install a Tiger on a client and there's an Open Directory server present it actually asks you whether you want the OD admin to administer the client too... However, is there a way to do this after setup?
Thanks.

The only command I found was
nicl . append /groups/admin users <username> but it seems a bit useless.
