Hello
Early today I bumped and ejected one of my Xserve's mirrored drive
modules. Looking around on this list and the net in general then I
have worked out various strategies to restore the RAID's state.
However, not being particularly familiar with many of the
processes involved then I could use some guidance in deciding what
would be most effective in my situation.
The state of things is as follows:
o The Xserve is a headless G5 running Mac OS X Server 10.3.9.
o There are two 250GB drives in the server which had been mirrored
with software RAID 1. There is a little over 100GB of data on each.
You need to know what version of Apple's software RAID you're running.
Or are you running the hw RAID option?
