check the access permissions that user has to that folder.
cd /Network/Servers/foo.bar.com/Volumes/RAID1/
then
ls -la | more
check the perms on all the folders and check the perms on the folder
in question. Compare the files.
you could always back up their data elswere and delete the home
folder and issue a createhomdir -s , this will recreate the home
folder for that location.
