Re: 4 Port Network Adapters...

Daniel

We have used Small-Tree's cards in 2 of our PPC Xserve boxes (G4 w/ 10.2 & .3 and G5 w/ 10.4) - with their own aggregation software and most recently with OSXS's built-in - with very good luck.  Most of the cards utilize OS X's native drivers and their tech support is knowledgeable and responsive.

Hello everyone,

I'm looking into purchasing a 4 port gigabit network card for a new intel
Xserve.  The card will be used with link aggregation to give the server a
nice pipe.

Has anyone ever used such a beast on a Xserve, powerpc or intel?  And if so,
which brand did you use?

Also, if you have any horror stories, please share.  Thanks!
