Dan asked, quite clearly, why the OP wasn't getting the answers she or he needed from the manuals. This sort of information /is/ vital to us since without it we don't know what information the OP already knows so there's a chance we'd simply post about hundreds of pages of documentation that the OP has already read.

No, the questions were not aimed at understanding why the OP didn't check the manuals, they were obviously rhetorical. This type of response is a good way to make someone regret posting their questions.
