Re: Xserve Hosting websites - what are people using the most?

How others are going about it on their systems - are you rolling your own (built from scratch) or are you using a bundled package like MAMP?

We're in the process of centralizing our websites onto one host now. We're using mostly the built-in services of Tiger Server, with the exception of using MySQL 5 and PHP 5 (via the Entropy package).

For content management, we are migrating to MODx <http://modxcms.com> which we have found to be amazingly robust and yet simple to deal with. It blows away most of the other open source CMSes I have ever evaluated (Joomla doesn't hold a candle to it).
