Hi Dan, it'd be great if you could elaborate on why it should still be avoided. I've followed discussions on this topic for a while now but maybe I missed something since I always thought the main problem with rsync in tiger was EAs. And it's supposed to be fixed now.

I thought he was stating that we should avoid installing 10.4.9. Maybe he needs to be clearer on his posts like he is always yelling at other people to.
