I had this issue, was fixed when I installed the two firmware updates.

Hi,
I have encountered a problem with one of our mobile station.
It's a MacBook which was on airport.
A new user was to use the machine but I could not make it accept
her login.
After a series of trials, I noticed from the login window (I made
her click the machine name a couple of times) that network accounts
were not available.
After a login as an admin user I verified airport was working and
the setting which disconnects airport on logout was not set but it
seems it disconnects nonetheless.
Rebooting is useless.
Plugged via ethernet it works as expected.
I am baffled.
What could cause this?
Ps: It might have been like that since the beginning (august) but
could not notice since I installed/created the initial mobile user
account being wired.
thanks for any pointers
