But do your know how to force an ACE (you are right!) to refer to a
group instead of a user by the same name? Perhaps by specifying the
UUID itself?
Use a group ACE not a user one ;)
May I also add that the main problem with ACE/ACL, whatever, that is
the crash in rsync when these are associated with resource fork
files, is resolved. The same for the UNIX permission problem with
resource fork files.
Yes, but while this is nice it still doesn't greatly improve it as a
tool, just corrects a bug.
