Re: SonicWall LDAP user authentication

I tried the suggested changes and it is still a no go...LDAP Client
Authentication Failed.

I checked my Open Dir Master in Server Admin and the domain is
dc=odm,dc=munising,dc=lan Also if I remove the odm and try to pull the
settings from server it comes back with an ldap error...

Do you have the same sonicwall pro 3060? and are you able to use ldap to
auth users? Could it be that my domain should have be set to
dc=munising,dc=lan and that is causing a problem?

I did not think this would be so difficult...

Under the Schema tab on the sonicwall I can export the schema that it is
reading...I see the Object classes...both inetOrgPerson and posixAccount.
uid is the userid (short name) in both. Could it have something to do
with the ODM server? Is there something that I need to enable on the
server to allow ldap authentication?

Brad
