The Xserve and Xserve RAID have always been on the front page of
the Federal and Education Institution stores, just not the Retail
or Education Individual stores.
It's the same reason you can't find one in an Apple Retail Store
either. It's not a Retail Consumer Product.
If you want and XServe you walk into TekServe and back out with
one in hand, not either of the two Apple stores in NYC. ;)
Actually the SOHO store sells quite a bit of server gear, people
just order it though...
I suppose the 5th Ave store orders them for you too, but that doesn't
help you if you want one *now*. Some people just need somethin' fer
dare fix.
