However, my Apple Rep (who understandably is a little bogged

that licenses on a maintenance plan won't *ship* until the 26th.
Has anyone heard otherwise?
They normally arrive about the same time as other orders.
FWIW, they confirmed today that AMP media is shipping today, not
arriving today.
In the grand scheme of things, having to wait a few more days
isn't the end of the world. But I don't see why businesses who
have committed to a long-term relationship with Apple should
have to wait longer than Joe Consumer.
Because they aren't placing a consumer order. They're on
maintenance which isn't an order for a product.
Well, another way of looking at is that I placed the order a year
and a half ago when I renewed my maintenance licenses. I don't see
why an order placed last week gets precedence over my long-
standing order. (Yes, I understand they are different departments,
but I doubt there was any physical barrier to the AMP group
sending out the media in advance, like the retail group did.)
I placed my order "Invoice Date: 04/22/05". I had to change my
shipping address on this order and could not as it was over 18
months old and when I did, I enquired about the ship ETA. It was
supposed to be Monday 10/29/07.
