Re: Backing up preferences

Why not use Applescript to go ahead and automate this?

I mean, since there's an export option you should be able to go ahead and do a step by step via the GUI to go ahead and do the action and even where to store the backup.

Just my thought,

I just noticed that Server Admin has two export functions, one for Service Settings and another for Server Admin Preferences. Is there a way to automate these actions? Particularly the latter, as I found a script online on backing up Service Settings plists but nothing on Server Admin Preferences.

Thanks!
