Go into WGM and connect to your OD server. Select the computer group that
contains the computers that these 1000 accounts can access. Click the
Preferences item in the toolbar, and then click the Details tab. Now, click
the + button and add the Managed Client.app found in /System/Library/Core
Services. This adds a bunch of manageable items, one of which is "iWork
Registration".
Select iWork Registration, and click the pencil/edit button. Click the exand
triangle next to the Once item and then click New Key. Now click New item to
reveal a menu of options and select License Number. Enter the License Number
in the value column to the right. Click New Key again and change it to
Registration State, leaving the value as 1. Click New Key again and change
it to User Name, supplying the desired user name. Click New Key once more
and change it to Disable Registration Window, leaving it set to true.
Now click Apply Now. That should do it. This will also take care of iWork
registration for local accounts as long as the computer is bound to OD.
