Re: US-CERT Vulnerability Note VU#800113



Hi folks,
This is indeed a very serious issue and recompiling BIND is a way how to solve this particular problem but it's not a solution everybody expects. We choosed Apple because they offer superior products.
They (Apple) maybe are newbies in enterprise (I believe that time is over for several years already) but it would only mean that they should be the first to provide a fix.
I'm on this list for long time already and honestly don't remember any post by an apple employee except of posting list rules.
Sadly, the only way to communicate with them is via bugreport.
