Re: Adding a ssh-only user account

You said jsmith was created in the local domain? What does the
command 'dscl . -read /users/jsmith' give you?

For your ssh problem, what is the 'UserShell' and for the home
directory issue, what is the NFSHomeDirectory?

not having a User Shell will prevent ssh. I'm going to guess that the
NFSHomeDirectory is set to either none or /Users.
