The last three tend to differentiate any model changes, but I have never seen a chart translating this, and there is no apparent logical sequence to the characters, which can be letters or numbers. However, if you have a model(s) you would be happy to duplicate, then note down the last three characters of the serial and see if the auctioned devices are a match.
