Following the recent discussion of the firewire SDK, I downloaded version
21, and started up FireStarter 1.6 on my Intel iMac. The app lauches,
and then tells me that FWSkeletonKey needs to be installed.
The installation of FWSkeletonKey fails, however. I see a message on the
introduction screen that says "If you see this message, press "Go back"
then "continue": You cannot install this software on this disk. (null)"
Is this because of incompatibility with the new intel architecture, or
is there some other reason this installation might be failing?
