Effect of iteration count with Richardson-Lucy Deconvolve

vImageRichardsonLucyDeConvolve_PlanarF() has an interationCount parameter. If I use some number "n" for this count, is this the equivalent of calling this function "n" times (with interationCount=1), using the output image as the next iteration's image?

PS: regarding my last post, I used { 0.05, 0.1, 0.05, 0.1, 0.4, 0.1, 0.05, 0.1, 0.05 } as the kernel - seems to work OK.
