Anyone remember the Multifinder Compatible bit?

Hi,

Does anyone remember back to Classic Mac OS and the "Printer Driver is
Multifinder Compatible" bit? I assume its still necessary to set this for
a PMRF, one that uses TN1097 desktop printing.

My question: is it possible to set this flag using /Developer/Tools/
SetFile? It appears this tool can set any old-school file attribute but
this one. Why is that? Or could it be an undocumented option?! (he asks
hopefully)

In case anyone is wondering, its appears that CodeWarrior's Output Flags
Post-linker fails when the project and target reside on a SMB-mounted
volume, at least when its been asked to set the MF Compatible and Has
Bundle bits. :-(

Thanks
