I already read this, but it doesn't match with the samples installed by
the Dev Tools CD in
/Developer/Examples/Printing/*.

OK. This should also be on the Dev Tools CD, though.
Its ReadMe states:

Works. Fine. But I want to write Printer Module specific PDEs, not app
specific. In this sample the PDE is put inside the app package in the
plugins folder. This doesn't really help me with finding out where to put
a PM-PDE to be usable from every app.

But there are a PM and some PDEs in this project. Shouldn't this be
enough to get started?

Thanks,

Marc Stibane
