Problem with espgs building for mac os x

Hi,

I got a helpful email from Brother linux support (thank you!) suggesting that I get the latest and greatest espgs built for mac os x and that this includes support for the Brother HL720 printer, which is compatible with the laser in the MFC 6800.

I got the latest off the internet as Apple's didn't seem to support this Brother printer (yet) -- although I would be happy to beta test 8-) -- but I am getting build errors during link.

When I attempt to build espgs-7.07.1rc2 on darwin (using gcc3, 10.2.8), I get unresolved externals in the linker as follows:

What part of mac os X (what library/framework) are _bindtextdomain and _dgettext in? Are they C functions in a standard library somewhere?
