Re: How do I get PDF files submitted to my filter?

Jim,

Photoshop uses the LaserWriter 8 compatibility path for printing. That is, it generates a PICTwPS spool file, not a PDF spool file. If you search the printing list archives you will find several email threads on this topic.

I have a CUPS filter and backend which can only accept PDF files. When I

can't get there from here.

Any suggestions what I'm missing? I would think that generating PDFs should
be pretty easy from any application and already be there.

Any suggestions are appreciated.
