Re: HP drivers for OSX

Hi.

This list is for developing printer drivers or developing applications that uses printers.
It is NOT for end users using printers.

Anyway, you should go to each vendor's web site and look for drivers. I know HP has them, but don't know about QMS.

Lennart

Maybe the "info" about the list is ambiguous and misleading people?

Welcome to the email@hidden mailing list! The Printing
mailing list is for discussion of application programming interfaces
for Carbon and Cocoa applications, command line printing tools for
Unix, the user interfaces for printing (Print Center, the print
dialogs, and their plugins), the spooling system (CUPS), printer
drivers, PPD files, and so on. As a starting point, please visit
http://developer.apple.com/printing/ for on-line documentation and
sample code.

I know it implies it is for "developing printer drivers or developing applications that uses printers" but I can see how people could get confused (esp. with such a generic name as "printing").
