Launching the current users default web browser from a CUPS backe nd...

I have a backend built that calls a web page using LSOpenCFURLRef() but it's
misbehaving and I think I know why. The problem is that it doesn't call the
default web browser as defined in System Preferences. On 10.2 without Safari
it always chooses IE and with Safari it always chooses Safari. My guess is
that it has to do with the backend running as root instead of the current
user so it's getting preferences for the root user (whatever those are).
However, when it does run root's default browser it is running as the
current user (and showing current user settings like bookmarks).

So, I'm hoping someone can give me the quick fix before I go back to
learning about exec and AuthorizationServices.
