Any news on a Tiger compatible ppdc/ppdpo? The
configure/make/install is failing.
Installing just the cups headers did the trick. It's compiling (and
working) fine under Tiger. See the ddk's install.txt.

On the PPD side I see how the ddk tools ppdc and ppdpo can help me
create localized PPDs. We may be supporting up to 15 languages, so
we could end up with 45 PPDs. That seems like a lot. Can these be
bundled, combined, or placed into a single folder somehow? How does
the system decide which PPD to use?
Doesn't seem that way.
/Library/Printers/PPDs/Contents/Resources/language-of-your-choice
seems to be the way they are broken up.
On the filter side, I'd like to put the Filter in a bundle so
error strings can be localized using
genstrings/CFCopyLocalizedString. Do filters in bundles work ok?
Filters can be standard bundled Mach-O apps that can use standard
string localization techniques.

I'd like to build and install CUPS-86 on 10.4.1 so I can compile
the CUPS ddk on 10.4.1.
As above, just install the headers only and then build the ddk. ;-)
