Thank you for your reply, I have another problem.
Current we port our MAC OS driver to universal binary and meet one issue
We have developed CUPs filter for our Plug-in in Mac OS 10.3.
Now, port it to Mac OS 10.4 that base on Intel Mac and Power PC.
we build it and setting compiler as universal_binary guide, but result is
the filter that builded by PowerPC can only run in Mac OS 10.4 base on Power PC
and builded by Intel Mac can only run in Mac OS 10.4 base Intel Mac.
I try to other ways, I change compiler setting arch only for PPC but build it base on Intel Mac.
expectation is the filter can run in Mac OS 10.4 base PowerPC, but test result is frustrated.
I check our code and found our code have "unsigned char FAR*" transform into "char*",
do you think this will raise problem?
would you have some suggest?

Yu Min,
All of the libraries in the system including libcups.2.dylib are universal binaries so you won't need to do anything special to make it work.
