Re: renaming classes



When I was developing compilers on NT 3.51 beta, Microsoft found and fixed this same problem in NTFS. So they thought that was worth fixing quickly.

I understand now the HFS+ is case-insensitive but is case-preserving. I was a little confused because I'm able to rename files in the Finder (10.2.6) for case sensitive changes only. This is different from what The Amazing Llama said: "In PB as in Finder, changing a file from 'foo.txt' to 'Foo.txt' yields an error".

The problem is resolved for me. I was able to rename my classes.
