For PB, it's possible, but not particularly something that's supported. (Check the archives for the efforts to add an Ada compiler.) However, in any case, PB *itself* is no longer supported, since Xcode replaces it.

Xcode is still under NDA, so anyone with experience can't legally say anything. You might send the question to the Xcode feedback address (which I don't have handy at the moment). Apple has publicly stated that the PB build system remains available in Xcode (for compatibility with PB), but that there's a new build system as well. The new one may make what you want done easier.
