Setting .dmg Background Image using Shell Script

Is it possible to set a .dmg background image using a shell script. I've gotten my .dmg creation shell script to work but it doesn't have a background image nor license sheet.

I understand that the image must reside in the .dmg file, but how can I assign it without doing it manually in the Finder?

Any pointers?
