help executable application

Since a while we are creating an application in Cocoa, making use of InterfaceBuilder and ProjectBuilder v. 2.1.
Our project is made-up of 5 files nib and different classes, used separately in the relative nibs.
The created application is without errors, but it does not work correctly, because upon the execution of the created application, it does not produce the desired result. More in detail: there are 2 buttons in a nib (IBAction), perfectly connected and with their relative code, but they do not do anything. We tried to find the error in debug-mode or in run-mode, but this way the application works correctly.

What could be the mistake?
