Query re managaing CVS working directories under project builder

Hello

A couple of (possibly related?) newby project builder questions. I am involved in a couple of CVS maintained projects and I would like to have my local cvs working directories be under pproject builder (mainly so that I can use the GUI interface to gdb that it provides). So:

1) What is the correct way to make a cvs workinging directory into a project? I tried to add all files from my cvs directory into a new project and it did copy all the files in OK but not the CVS files themselves.
2) Also when I tried to build (= make??) and execute the program, I received the messages build succeeded but run session cancelled. No executable present. Is there something special I need to do to "make" the makefile in the directory since apparently build is not accessing it.

Ive looked unsuccessfully for documentation on these topics. If its there Id be grateful for a pointer in that direction.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Peter Schattner

PS Is there some way to run project builders gdb GUI independently of project builder?
