Functionality change in XCode?

In project builder you could enable or disable a source file that you were including in your project by clicking a checkbox on the left side of the view file column. I'm curious is that functionality gone in XCode? If so why, it's an easy way to disable code that you don't want to work on yet or your prototyping. I haven't found the replacement for it in XCode and I feel like my productivity is going to suffer without that functionality. What's the options here?
