What do you mean by "the CVS files themselves"? The CVS bookkeeping files? What did you expect to happen? If the source files and libraries for your project were added, what wasn't added that you wanted to be? Gdb doesn't know about CVS, so I wouldn't expect anything to go wrong if CVS-specific files weren't available.

What kind of target are you using? Unless it's a "legacy makefile" target, PB ignores your makefile completely. (And even then, you need to point PB to it explicitly, I think.)

No. You can run gdb itself (using Terminal), but the GUI is part of PB.


By the way, are you aware that non-ASCII characters (those outside the 0-127 range) don't necessarily get through intact? What I received has numerous little empty boxes here and there in the text (e.g., "I tried to []add all files[] from" and "tried to []build[] (= make??)"). I assume those are quotation marks and such, but I can't really tell.
