If you don't want to change the composition on the QCView, then loading it on the view within IB, as it gets saved with the .nib, should be fine.
This didn't happen for me. The final app bundle (with the .qtx inside) referenced the data in the intermediate build area.
This was a debug build, so maybe that is an issue?
Anyway, if I cleaned out the intermediate build area, the app crashed on startup.
