You can set the timebase for each 'Image with Movie' to internal or
external, if you set it to external, you can decide, speed and
direction etc via the interpolation object for example.

Can you pause or stop the movie?
Also you dont seem to be able to get any information out of the
movie - such as its size - so you can crop it - as cropping using
pixels -?
