Re: enable on nodes and macros

Good idea, especially for debugging glitchy CI kernels, but you could replicate that using a multiplexer image input to the kernels. Leave the zero input undefined, and hook one up to the image input of the macro. Now you can feed a binary "enable" flag into the multiplexor selector.

an idle feature request

I would find it very handy if every node especially core image filters and macros had by default
an "enable" input. if disabled they should pass thru the inputs unchanged.

it seems at present only renderers get an "enable" input.

it seems a common thing that I want to add a core image filter but be able to toggle it on and off
and at the moment this seems not very easy to do.
